1oz Iberian Lynx gold coin 2021 - EMISSION FINISHED
The Iberian lynx is the first gold bullion of the Fábrica Nacional de Moneda y Timbre - Real Casa de la Moneda.
It is a limited edition as the maximum number of coins to be minted will be 12,000. The coin will weigh one ounce of gold (31.10 grams), have a face value of 1.5 euros, a diameter of 37 millimetres and a circular shape with a smooth edge.
It has an inverse proof format, a special finish, because they are designed and minted with techniques and quality superior to the coins that are produced for circulation.
The obverse "shows the motifs and legends of a real de a ocho, of the columnar type: two hemispheres under a royal crown, flanked by the Pillars of Hercules with the motto PLUS VLTRA, all over a sea with waves. At the top, in a circular shape and in capital letters, is the legend FELIPE VI REY DE ESPAÑA (FELIPE VI KING OF SPAIN). At the bottom of the coin, in circular letters, the legend 1 ONZA 999,9 ORO.
The reverse shows an image of the head of an Iberian bobcat. To the left is the mintmark and the year of issue 2021. At the top of the coin, in two lines, the face value 1.5 EURO. At the bottom, in a circle, the legend LINCE IBÉRICO (IBERIAN LYNX). The motifs and legends are encircled by a pinecone graphite.
