1 oz Oso Pardo 2025 Gold Coin

The fifth issue of the Spanish Mint's first pure bullion coin. The obverse of the coin shows a representation of the motifs and legends of a royal colonnade: two hemispheres under a royal crown, flanked by the columns of Hercules with the motto ‘PLUS ULTRA’, all above a sea with waves. The mintmark, a five-pointed star, the graphic symbol of the euro and the silhouette of the colonnade appear in a circle in the upper centre of the coin in the form of a fourfold tilting image. At the top, the inscription "FELIPE VI REY DE ESPAÑA" (FELIPE VI KING OF SPAIN) appears in capital letters in the shape of a circle. At the bottom of the coin is the inscription "1 ONZA 999,9 ORO", also in a circular shape. All this is surrounded by a pinion. The reverse shows the image of a Cantabrian brown bear. To the left is the inscription "OSO PARDO" (brown bear) in a descending circular arrangement and in capital letters, and to the right is the year of issue, 2025. At the top is the value of the coin in horizontal capital letters: "1.5 euro"; below this is the mint mark.
